July 2nd  – Sailing – Round the Island Race, Cowes, Isle of Wight ; Sailing’s answer to the London Marathon as 1600 boats, crewed by some big names in sailing as well as some keen amateur sailors, skim past The Needles round St Catherine’s Point and Bembridge Ledge and back into the Solent. Most of which is visible to watch ‘shore side.’  or on the Isle of Wight.

July 2nd -  Horse Racing – Coral-Eclipse Summer Festival, Sandown Park, Surrey - featuring The Coral Eclipse Stakes ‘one of the biggest classics on the planet ‘.

July 2nd - Cycling - Tour De France (until 24th) featuring UK cyclists Chris Froome  last year’s overall winner of the Tour and Sprint stage specialist Mark Cavendish.

July 3rd - Motor Racing Formula One Austrian Grand Prix, Spielberg  - featuring  British Drivers Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Jolyan Palmer.

July 5th  – Cricket –Nat West International T20 – England v Sri Lanka, Ageas Bowl, Southamption – The 2016 International Calendar kicks off at the home of Hampshire Cricket.

July 5th - Royal Horticultural Society Hampton Court Flower Show  Hampton Court Palace, (until 10th) This is recognised as being the World’s Biggest Flower Show with a mixture of celebrity Horticulturists attendance including Diarmud Gavin and Charlie Dimmock.

July 6th  – Music and Arts – The Henley Festival , Henley  on Thames, Oxon (until 10th) ‘Dig Out Your best Frock’ for this glamour boutique festival – Artists performing include: Elton John, Will Young, Dame Shirley Bassey, Elvis Costella to name a few!

July 7th - Horse Racing – The Moet & Chandon July Festival, Newmarket , Suffolk . (until 9th) The first day is Ladies Day - one of the hottest tickets of the Summer – so don your finest attire to enjoy a great day of racing.

July 7t - Golf – The Scottish Open, Castle Stuart Golf Links , Inverness, (until 10th) One of the richer golf tournaments on the PGA European Tour this is the  last chance for European Tour players to earn a spot in ‘The Open Championship’.

Jult 8th - Kent County Show, The showground Detling , Maidstone , Kent(until 10th) Featuring  displays of livestock, agriculture, poultry, Horses, trade stands, Art, Produce, flower arranging show jumping and arena events to entertain the  family.

July 10th - Motor Racing – Formula one British Grand Prix, Silverstone, Northamptonshire. F1 drivers call the British Grand Prix at the iconic Silverstone circuit ‘insanely fast’. We simply call it one of the world’s greatest sporting events. Throw in a great weekend-long party and the race is on!

July 10th -  Golf – The British Open Championship, Royal Troon Links Course, South Ayrshire. The oldest and most international championship in professional golf, with the winner receiving the iconic ‘Claret Jug’ one of the most sought after trophies in all of sport.

July 14th - Cricket -1st Investec  Ashes Test – England v Pakistan, Lords, St Johns Wood   (until 18th) The famous cricket venue of Lords is playing host to England as they battle at the crease with Pakistan in another  test match series. July 17th -  Motor Cycling – Moto GP Germany, Sachsenring - feature riders include Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez each vying for the 2016 Moto GP Championship title.

July 20th - Polo – Verve Clicquot Gold Cup Final Cowdray Park , Midhurst, West Sussex .To celebrate 20 years of partnership with iconic Cowdray Park Polo Club , Veuve Clicquot is hosting a VIP Picnic experience in recognition of The Gold cup event which is one of the world’s most prestigious Polo tournaments.

July 26th  – New Forest and Hampshire County Show, The Showground Brockenhurst,  Hampshire –(until 28th) Featuring  displays and judging of livestock, agriculture, poultry and Horses,  show jumping, trade stands, Produce and flower tents  and arena events to entertain the family.

July 26th  – Horse racing – Glorious Goodwood l, West Sussex ( until 30th) Taking place at the world’s most beautiful racecourse,  five days of thrilling racing action set against the magnificent backdrop of the rolling Sussex countryside – Quite simply a sporting and social highlight of the summer season.

July 26th - Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead, West Sussex (until 31st) This event is a must to visit if you are at all ‘horsey’.  Numerous trade stands selling ‘everything equestrian’ , World class show jumping  top level showing classes, international dressage, carriage driving and much more.

July 31st - Motor Racing - Formula One German Grand Prix, Hockenheim. located south of Frankfurt, the circuit is a popular Formula 1 destination to drive to from the UK  and features  the famous Stadium complex offering impressive grandstand viewing  for spectators.
